What Does Yahweh Mean?

Yahweh (pronounced “yah-way”) is a biblical name for God used across multiple faiths, symbolizing unity and connection among people of all backgrounds.

Who We Are

Yahweh Cafe, formerly known as Ice-Spot Alico, first opened its doors in November 2024. What began as a partnership with another store has since evolved into an independently owned café with its own identity and vision. The shop offers a diverse menu including boba teas, specialty coffees, mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs, and now full-service ice cream featuring the beloved local brand Royal Scoop.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

1 Corinthians 10:31

Meet Lindsay

As I came to a close with Ice-Spot, I had an entire business to rename and rebrand. Previously, I had been writing Bible verses on cups and leaving out prayer cards for customers to take with them. When it was time to make a change to the store, I felt a strong and clear calling to rebrand it as a faith-based café. There were concerns from others that promoting the business as a Christian café would deter customers. However, I knew this calling was from God and that He would provide.

I struggled with creating a logo and name that truly sat peacefully with me. Then, a member of my church asked me about the meaning of my “YHWH” tattoo. I explained that it stood for YAHWEH, the name of God given to Moses in the Book of Exodus. In that moment, I knew that was the name of my café.

I began designing the logo by adding three boba teas to represent the Holy Trinity and the three crosses. The sunshine graphic is an ode to my church’s original emblem. The Lord made it very clear that this was the logo and the path I was meant to continue on.

Since rebranding as a faith-based café, we have received only positive feedback, experienced moments of faith in the store daily, and built a beautiful community founded on Christ.
